Teaspoon Willie's Egg-in-a-Basket

The Egg-in-a-Basket is also known as “Toad in the Hole” and is most certainly kid-approved!

Teaspoon Willie's Egg in a Basket

Prep time:

Cook time:

  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter or favorite oil
  • ½ tsp fresh parsley, (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp parmesan cheese
  • 2 slices bread, (any variety)
  • 4 eggs
  • salt and pepper to taste

  1. In a large bowl, beat 2 eggs together while slowly adding TEASPOON WILLIE'S EVERYTHING SAUCE, parsley and parmesan cheese.
  2. Cut a circle or square from the center of both slices of bread.
  3. Heat1 tbsp butter in a large frying pan over medium-low heat, dip the cut slice of bread into the egg mixture until it is soaked. Quickly fry the bread in the pan until golden brown, about 2 minutes.
  4. Flip the bread to the uncooked side and crack egg in the center. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  5. Remove from pan and repeat with the second slice of bread. Enjoy!
